Cooking Steps
Step 1: To begin making the Mambazha Pulissery recipe, peel and slice the mango
Step 2: In a deep pan, add 2 cups of water, mango slices, slit green chillies and turmeric powder and boil till the mangoes are well cooked and soft
Step 3: In the meantime add the grated coconut, jeera and jaggery along with water into a mixer grinder & grind into a very smooth paste
Step 4: Once the mangoes are soft, add the ground Pulissery paste to this
Step 5: After this keep stirring for a while so that the curry does not curdle
Step 6: Once the Mambazha Pulissery is thick, lower the flame
Step 7: Beat the yogurt lightly with a fork and add it to the curry
Step 8: Switch off the flame
Step 9: Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan
Step 10: Add mustard seeds and let it crackle
Step 11: Add curry leaves and red chillies
Step 12: Let it crisp up and then add it to the Mambazha Pulissery
Step 13: Check the salt to taste and adjust accordingly
