Cooking Steps
Step 1: To make Maharashtrian potato bhujana, first peel the potato and cut it round
Step 2: Now put it in a pressure cooker with water as per use and cook till 1 city comes
Step 3: Allow the pressure to drain and keep aside
Step 4: Now put coriander seeds, wheat germ, gram dal, cumin, rye, fenugreek seeds, dry red chillies, asafoetida and turmeric powder in a pan
Step 5: Bake for 5 minutes
Step 6: Let cool slightly and grind in a mixer grinder
Step 7: Keep it aside
Step 8: Now heat oil in a pan
Step 9: Add the mustard seeds, cumin seeds and let it cook for 15 seconds
Step 10: Now add onion, ginger garlic paste and cook for 10 minutes
Step 11: Now add green chillies, turmeric powder and ground spices
Step 12: Add some water and mix
Step 13: Now add potatoes and salt
Step 14: Cook for 2 minutes and garnish with green coriander
Step 15: Serve hot
