Instructions
Cooking Steps
Dry roast the rolled oats in a pan over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until lightly toasted. Keep aside.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add chopped onions, grated carrot, and chopped green chili. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onions turn translucent.
Add frozen peas and sauté for another 2-3 minutes until the peas are cooked.
Add turmeric powder and salt. Mix well.
Add roasted oats and 2 cups of water to the pan. Mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes until the oats are cooked and the water is absorbed.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
