- Rinse almonds thoroughly to remove impurities.
- Soak almonds in water for 6–8 hours or overnight to soften them, making blending easier and digestion better.
Cooking Steps
Rinse almonds and soak in water for 6–8 hours or overnight.
Drain the soaked almonds and peel them (optional step, but peeling gives a smoother texture to the milk).
Add the soaked almonds and 1000 ml of fresh water to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.
Strain the mixture through a nut milk bag or fine muslin cloth. Squeeze well to extract all the milk.
Transfer the almond milk to a clean glass bottle or jar. Store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Shake well before use.
