Cooking Steps
Step 1: To make Lobia Masala recipe, soak the Lobia in water for 2 hours
Step 2: Now pour them in a pressure cooker with 2 cups of water and cook till 5 to 6 cities come
Step 3: Allow the pressure to drain on its own
Step 4: After the pressure comes out, remove the cowpea and keep them separately in a bowl
Step 5: Heat the oil in a saucepan
Step 6: Add cumin, cinnamon and let the cumin seeds crackle
Step 7: After the cumin seeds crackle, add ginger, garlic, onion, green chilies and cook for 15 to 20 seconds
Step 8: Now add tomato puree and cook for 4 to 5 minutes
Step 9: Now add turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, red chilli powder, jaggery, cowpea and mix
Step 10: Reduce the flame to low and let the cowpea cook for 15 minutes
Step 11: If you need more water then add it and let it cook
Step 12: Cook for 15 minutes and add lemon juice to it
Step 13: Mix and garnish with green coriander
Step 14: Serve
Step 15: Serve Lobia Masala with Tawa Paratha and Tomato Onion Cucumber Raita for the day
