Instructions
Preparation
Boiling Lobia:
Soak 1 cup of black-eyed peas overnight or for at least 4 hours.
Drain the water and rinse the soaked black-eyed peas.
Boil the black-eyed peas in a pressure cooker or a pot with enough water until they are soft but not mushy.
Drain any excess water and let the black-eyed peas cool to room temperature.
Cooking Steps
In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped onion, tomato, cucumber, green chili, and coriander leaves.
Add boiled black-eyed peas to the mixing bowl.
Add cumin powder, chaat masala, red chili powder, black salt, and lime juice to the mixing bowl. Mix well.
