Little Millet (Raw)
0.25 cup (50g)
Chicken, poultry, breast, skinless
100 gms (100g)
Carrot
0.25 cup, chopped (50g)
Green Peas
0.25 small cup (25g)
Clove Garlic, Minced
1 tsp (5g)
Black Pepper
1 tsp (2g)
Olive Oil
1 tbsp (15g)
Green Bell pepper

Grated Ginger

Instructions
Preparation
Cook Little Millet:
- Rinse millet thoroughly.
- Cook with water, and bring to a boil. Simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes or until tender. Fluff with a fork and set aside.
Chicken Marination:
- Wash, cut chicken into pieces & marinate chicken pieces with salt, black pepper, grated ginger, & minced garlic. Set aside for 15-20 minutes.
Cooking Steps
In a wok, heat oil over medium-high heat.
Add the marinated chicken pieces and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove the chicken and set aside.
In the same skillet, add a little remaining oil, then sauté the remaining garlic and ginger for 1 minute until aromatic.
Add chopped vegetables (green bell pepper, carrots, green peas) and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes. Keep them slightly crunchy.
Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet, followed by the cooked little millet. Stir everything together.
Add soy sauce, and sprinkle black pepper. Mix well.
Serve hot.
