Chickpeas (Raw)
0.5 small cup (50g)
Lettuce
1 cup, chopped (200g)
Common salt
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Black Pepper

lemon juice

Preparation
Boil Chickpeas:
-Soak 1/4 cup (approximately 50g dry weight) of chickpeas overnight or for at least 8 hours. Drain and rinse.
-Boil them in fresh water with a pinch of salt until soft and tender (about 20-30 minutes in a pressure cooker or 40-50 minutes). Drain and allow them to cool.
Cooking Steps
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped lettuce, boiled chickpeas, chopped cucumber, tomato.
In a small bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, black pepper powder, and salt to make the dressing.
Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat all the ingredients evenly.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves
