Cooking Steps
Step 1: To begin making the Kerala Palada Pradhaman recipe, first slow boil milk and 1/2 cup sugar on low flame until it reduces lesser than half the quantity
Step 2: I used pressure cooker with weight on for about 60 minutes and slow cooked/boiled the milk
Step 3: The milk turned slightly pink in colour by doing this
Step 4: Cook ada as per packet instructions
Step 5: Once cooked, drain the ada and rinse it in cold water to stop cooking
Step 6: Heat ghee in a pan
Step 7: Add 1/4 cup sugar and saute
Step 8: Wait till sugar melts and starts to turn slightly brown
Step 9: Add cooked ada and saute for about 2 minutes
Step 10: Add about 1 to 1-1/2 cup boiled milk
Step 11: Mix well
Step 12: If it need more milk add it
Step 13: Sprinkle cardamom powder, mix well
Step 14: Serve hot or cold
Step 15: Either ways it tastes delicious
Step 16: Serve Kerala Palada Pradhaman after your meal of Keerai Sambar, Beetroot Thoran and Steamed Rice
