Cooking Steps
Step 1: To make Karnataka Style Moolangi Chutney, firstly tighten the radish and finely chop the onion
Step 2: Now heat oil in a pan
Step 3: Add urad dal, chana dal, asafoetida and dry red chillies
Step 4: Cook until lentils turn golden
Step 5: Turn off the gas and allow it to cool
Step 6: Remove it separately
Step 7: Now add radish and onion to it
Step 8: Add salt after 30 seconds and cook until the radish and onion are cooked
Step 9: Turn off the gas and drain them separately
Step 10: Allow to cool
Step 11: Now in a mixer grinder, add the baked spices, radish and onion mixture, tamarind and salt
Step 12: Grind this mixture well
Step 13: Now heat some oil in a tempering pan for tempering
Step 14: Add mustard seeds and let it cook for 10 seconds
Step 15: Now add curry leaves and mix it after 20 seconds in the sauce
Step 16: Serve
Step 17: Serve Karnataka Style Moolangi Chutney with Idli or Ghee Roast Dosa for breakfast
