Instructions
Cooking Steps
In a mixing bowl, combine the jau(Barley) flour, wheat flour & sattu flour.
Gradually add water and knead the dough until it is smooth and pliable. The amount of water required will depend on the quality of the flour.
Cover the dough and let it rest for at least 30 minutes.
Divide the dough into equal-sized balls.
Roll out each ball into a thin roti using a rolling pin. Dust with flour as needed to prevent sticking.
Heat a tawa or non-stick pan over medium heat.
Place the roti on the tawa and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side or until golden brown spots appear.
Repeat with the remaining dough balls.
Serve hot.
