Ingredients
Jau (Barley) flour
1 small cup (100g)
Common salt
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Cumin seeds
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Fresh Coriander Leaves (chopped)
1 tbsp (5g)
Carom(Ajwain) Seeds
0.25 tsp (1.25g)
Radish, elongate, white skin
2 small (100g)
Plain Water
0.25 small cup (50g)

Preparation
-Wash, and grate radish(mooli), set aside.
Cooking Steps
In a mixing bowl, combine the jau flour, grated radish, chopped coriander leaves, cumin seeds, ajwain seeds, and salt.
Gradually add water and knead the mixture into a soft and pliable dough. Add water as needed to achieve the right consistency.
Divide the dough into small balls.
Dust a rolling board with jau flour and roll out each ball into a round roti of about 1/4 inch thickness.
Heat a tawa or griddle over medium heat. Place the roti on the tawa and cook for 1-2 minutes on one side.
Flip the roti and cook for another 1-2 minutes on the other side.
Remove the roti from the tawa and serve hot.
