Cooking Steps
In a large pot, heat the skimmed milk over medium heat until it comes to a boil.
Reduce the heat to low and add the lemon juice. Stir well and let the mixture simmer for 2-3 minutes until the milk curdles and the whey separates.
Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
Strain the mixture using a muslin cloth or a fine mesh strainer.
Rinse the paneer under cold water to remove any traces of lemon juice.
Squeeze out any excess water and transfer the paneer to a mixing bowl.
Add mixed dried herbs and salt to the paneer and mix well.
Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into small balls or flatten them into patties.
Heat a non-stick pan or tawa over medium heat. Grease it with a few drops of oil.
Place the paneer balls or patties on the tawa and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Serve it.
