Cooking Steps
Step 1: To start making Herb & Cheese Mushroom Omelette, heat a cast iron skillet over medium heat
Step 2: Add butter and once butter is melted add garlic and onions
Step 3: Sauté for a minute or so but no need to brown the onion and garlic
Step 4: Add the sliced mushrooms along with salt and pepper to taste
Step 5: Cook mushrooms till tender and the excess liquid in the skillet is evaporated
Step 6: Remove from heat and chopped parsley along with cheese
Step 7: Stir to combine
Step 8: Set aside while you prepare the omelette
Step 9: Take a bowl and whisk the egg, milk, salt and pepper
Step 10: Whisk until egg whites and yolks are well blended
Step 11: Heat a cast iron pan over medium heat and add a teaspoon of olive oil
Step 12: Pour half of the prepared egg mixture
Step 13: Spread it out evenly using a spatula
Step 14: When the eggs mixture looks stable from top and not runny, fill in half of the prepared mushroom filling on one side
Step 15: Close the other half over and let the omelette cook for few seconds
Step 16: Transfer the Mushroom Omelette to the serving plate
Step 17: Prepare the remaining mushroom omelettes using the similar way
