Cooking Steps
Step 1: To begin making the Gulab Jamun Trifle recipe, firstly crumble the gulab jamun along with its sugar syrup reserving two for garnishing
Step 2: You can also slice them
Step 3: Heat milk in a sauce pan
Step 4: Take custard powder in a bowl, add little water or milk and mix without lumps
Step 5: Once milk comes to boil, reduce the flame and add sugar and custard mixture
Step 6: Keep stirring until the custard becomes thick
Step 7: Allow it to cool
Step 8: Take a tall serving glass, add 3 tablespoons of cooled custard, then add 2 tablespoons of gulab jamun crumbles
Step 9: Add some custard mixture again followed by gulab jamun mixture layering one after another until it comes to 3/4th of the glass
Step 10: Now garnish with gulab jamun on top and add some crushed nuts
Step 11: Refrigerate for 30 minutes
Step 12: The delicious gulab jamun trifle is ready
Step 13: Serve chilled and enjoy
