Instructions
Preparation
1.Rinse the moong dal thoroughly and soak it in water for 1-2 hours.
2. Drain the soaked moong dal and rinse it again with fresh water.
3. In a pressure cooker, add the moong dal with 1 cup of water and a pinch of salt. Cook for 2-3 whistles on high heat.
4. Once the pressure has released naturally, open the cooker and let the moong dal cool down.
Cooking Steps
In a mixing bowl, add the cooked moong dal, chopped onions, tomatoes, cucumber, and green chili.
Add chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve immediately.
