Cooking Steps
Step 1: To begin making the Ginger Garlic Chicken Recipe, combine the corn flour with 1/4 cup of water and make a corn flour slurry
Step 2: Keep this aside
Step 3: Heat a skillet with oil on medium heat, add the ginger, garlic and saute for about a minute until starts turning into a light brown colour
Step 4: Next add the onions, green chilli and saute for another minute
Step 5: At this stage add in the salt and pepper and the chicken cubes
Step 6: Continue to cook the Ginger Garlic Chicken by placing the lid on for 2-3 minutes until the chicken is tender and cooked
Step 7: After 3 minutes, open the lid and add, ginger teriyaki sauce, schezwan sauce, red chilli sauce, chilli vinegar, soy sauce, honey and black pepper powder
Step 8: Stir fry the Ginger Garlic Chicken on high heat until the chicken is well coated with the sauces
Step 9: Finally add in the cornflour slurry and mix thoroughly on medium-high heat until the ginger garlic chicken becomes thick
Step 10: Check the salt and other spices and adjust according to taste
Step 11: Transfer the Ginger Garlic Chicken to a serving bowl and serve hot
