Bottle gourd, elongate, pale green
20 gms (20g)
Turmeric powder
0.25 tsp (1.25g)
Common salt
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Plain Water
1 small cup (200g)

Preparation
- Wash, peel, and dice the bottle gourd into small cubes.
- Rinse the moong dal thoroughly in water.
Cooking Steps
In a pressure cooker or pot, combine the diced bottle gourd, yellow moong dal, turmeric powder, salt, and water.
Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles, or until the dal and bottle gourd are soft and well-cooked.
