Instructions
Preparation
-Wash, peel and chopped Ghiya (Lauki).
Cooking Steps
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
Add ginger paste and garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
Add chopped bottle gourd (ghiya) and mix well.
Add water as needed to make a gravy and let it cook over medium heat until the bottle gourd is cooked and the gravy thickens.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
