Chillies, green-1
5 number (2g)
Turmeric powder
0.25 tsp (1.25g)
Cumin seeds
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
lemon juice
1 tbsp (15g)
Mustard oil
1 tsp (5g)
Common salt
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Instructions
Cooking Steps
In a pan, heat mustard oil until it starts to smoke lightly. Allow it to cool slightly.
Add cumin seeds to the mustard oil. Let them crackle for a few seconds.
Add the chopped garlic leaves and green chilies into the pan. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes on medium heat.
Sprinkle turmeric powder and salt. Mix well and cook for another minute.
Let the mixture cool slightly, then transfer to a blender. Add lemon juice and blend into a coarse chutney. Do not add water.
Transfer the chutney to a bowl and serve as a side dish with your meal.
