2 tbsp (30g)
Skimmed Milk
1 small cup (200g)
cardamom powder
1 tsp (2g)
Dried raisins
1 tbsp (5g)
Dates
1 piece, pitted (7g)
Instructions
Preparation
Soak the garden cress seeds in water for 15-20 minutes until they become soft.
Chop pitted date piece.
Cooking Steps
Heat the milk in a pan on low-medium flame.
Add the soaked garden cress seeds.
Stir in the chopped date and raisins (kismis).
Simmer for 40-50 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it slightly thickens.
Add cardamom powder if using, turn off the flame.
Let it cool slightly before serving warm, or chill and serve cold.
