Cooking Steps
Step 1: To make carrot vadi, first wash and peel the carrot
Step 2: After peeling, tighten the carrots and take them out in a bowl
Step 3: In the same bowl add gram flour, wheat flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder and add some water and take it
Step 4: Soft dough
Step 5: To make the vadi, sprinkle some water over the flour
Step 6: Take a little mixture in your hand and make a roll like a round cylinder
Step 7: Put the water in a saucepan to boil as per use
Step 8: Add the vadis and cook on high heat for 15 to 20 minutes
Step 9: Once cooked, take out the vadi and keep it aside to cool
Step 10: After cooling, cut it into small pieces
Step 11: Now for tempering, heat 2 teaspoons of oil in a pan
Step 12: Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and let it splutter
Step 13: After that add asafoetida, curry leaves, green chillies, sesame seeds and cook for 30 seconds
Step 14: Add vadis to it and mix well
Step 15: Serve
