Cooking Steps
Rinse the flax seeds thoroughly and soak them in 2 cups of water for at least 2 hours or overnight.
Drain the water and rinse the seeds again.
In a blender, add the soaked flax seeds and 2 cups of fresh water. Blend on high speed for 2-3 minutes until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy.
Place a nut milk bag or cheesecloth over a large bowl and pour the mixture into it.
Squeeze the bag or cheesecloth to extract all the milk from the mixture.
Transfer the milk to a glass bottle or jar and store it in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
