Note- You can opt any Fish available to you.
Cooking Steps
Rinse the fish fillet under cold water and pat it dry with a paper towel. Cut it into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
Heat the oil in a small pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and cook for about 2-3 minutes until they become soft and transparent.
Add grated ginger and minced garlic to the pan. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until they become fragrant.
Stir in the turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin, and ground coriander powder. Cook for about 1-2 minute to let the spices bloom.
Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they break down and create a thick mixture.
Carefully place the fish pieces into the tomato mixture. Gently stir to coat the fish with the spices.
Season with salt to your liking, then pour in the water. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan, and let it simmer for about 10 minutes or until the fish is
fully cooked and flakes easily with a fork.
If you like, garnish with chopped fresh coriander leaves.
