Preparation
Instructions for boiling potatoes: optionally you can peel and cube potatoes and roast them in air fryer or oven.
Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
Add water to the pressure cooker and potatoes.
Close the lid of the pressure cooker and cook over high heat.
Once the pressure builds up, reduce the heat to low and cook for 5-7 minutes.
Turn off the heat and let the pressure release naturally.
Open the pressure cooker lid and remove the potatoes using tongs, keep aside.
Cooking Steps
Heat a non-stick pan on medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
Add ginger paste and garlic paste. Sauté for a minute.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes until they are soft and mushy.
Add coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
Add boiled potatoes and mix well to coat the potatoes with the masala.
Add 1/2 cup of water and cover the pan. Let it cook for 5-7 minutes on low heat.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
