Dates
15 pieces (100g)
Walnut
10 gms (10g)
cardamom powder
1 tsp (2g)
Ghee
1 tsp (5g)
Instructions
Preparation
Pit the dates and chop them roughly.
Dry roast the walnuts on low flame for 2–3 minutes. Allow them to cool completely and coarsely grind them.
Cooking Steps
Add chopped dates to a pan.
Heat on low flame, stirring continuously until the dates soften and form a paste. (Do not add water)
Switch off the flame.
Add the ground walnuts and cardamom powder to the date paste.
Mix well until the mixture comes together. If the mixture feels dry, rub ½ tsp ghee.
While the mixture is still warm, shape it into small laddus.
Serve it.
