Cooking Steps
Prepare the Hung Curd: If you don't have hung curd ready, you can easily make it by straining regular yogurt. Place a muslin cloth or a clean kitchen towel over a bowl, pour the yogurt into the cloth, gather the corners of the cloth, and tie them up. Hang the cloth over the bowl or a faucet and let the excess liquid drain out for a few hours or overnight in the refrigerator. You'll be left with thick, creamy hung curd.
In a bowl, combine the hung curd and sour cream.
Add the minced garlic, fresh lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to the mixture. Stir until well combined.
Sprinkle in the dried dill and dried parsley (or fresh herbs if you're using them). Stir again to evenly distribute the herbs.
Taste the dip and adjust the seasoning if needed. You can add more salt, pepper, or lemon juice to suit your preference.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving. This chilling time allows the flavors to meld
