-Grate the fresh coconut (use only the white flesh, avoid the brown skin).
Cooking Steps
Add 100 grams grated coconut into a high-speed blender.
Pour in 250 ml warm water (not hot, just warm to help extract the milk).
Blend for about 1–2 minutes until creamy and smooth.
Place a muslin cloth or fine sieve over a clean bowl.
Pour the blended mixture into the cloth/sieve and squeeze well to extract the thick milk.
This is your first batch: rich, creamy coconut milk (cream of coconut).
NOTE:
-You can reuse the same coconut pulp by adding water, blending again, and straining.
-Second or third batches are thinner, ideal for soups, curries, or light cooking.
