Cooking Steps
Step 1: To make chow chow sambar, first put 2 cups water, turmeric powder, salt along with lentils in a pressure cooker and cook till 2 years come
Step 2: After the lentils are cooked, mash the lentils well and keep them aside
Step 3: Heat the oil in a pan
Step 4: Add onions and cook till they become soft
Step 5: Now add tomatoes and chow chow
Step 6: Cook until 3/4 of the chow is cooked
Step 7: Bitch kept shaking in between
Step 8: Now add tamarind water, sambar powder, salt and cook it until the chow is cooked well
Step 9: Now add dal, green coriander and cook for 2 to 3 minutes
Step 10: Turn off the gas
Step 11: Now heat sesame oil in a tempering pan
Step 12: Add the mustard seeds, dry red chilies and cook for 15 seconds
Step 13: Now add asafoetida, curry leaves and turn off the gas after 10 seconds
Step 14: Add this tempering to the sambar and mix
Step 15: Serve Chow Chow Sambar with beans and cabbage with porridge and rice for dinner
