Cooking Steps
Step 1: To begin making the Chinese Style Green Beans, first heat the oil in a wok
Step 2: Add the ginger and garlic and sauté for 1-2 seconds
Step 3: Add the red chilies and then the beans
Step 4: Stir fry for 1-2 minutes and then add a tablespoon of the stock
Step 5: Cook, them covered for 1-2 minutes, till the beans are just tender but still crunchy
Step 6: Sprinkle salt and add the soy sauce, vinegar, and the chili garlic sauce (if using)
Step 7: Mix well
Step 8: In a small bowl, mix the corn flour with the rest of the vegetable stock and add it to the beans
Step 9: Stir so that the sauce coats all over the beans
Step 10: Let it cook for another 3 minutes
Step 11: Garnish with the sesame seeds and serve immediately
Step 12: Your Chinese Style Green Beans Ready to be served with some Thai Jasmine Sticky Rice
