Preparation
-Wash and cut chicken into pieces.
Cooking Steps
In a bowl, mix red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, and salt. Add chicken pieces and mix well so that each piece is coated with the spices.
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add sliced onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and slit green chili. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until the raw smell goes away.
Add the marinated chicken and mix well. Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for 10-12 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
Remove the lid and stir-fry the chicken until it turns golden brown and the spices are well roasted.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
