Carrot

Preparation
-Wash and cut chicken in small pieces.
Cooking Steps
In a saucepan, combine the chicken pieces, chopped carrot, chopped potato, and water.
Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are soft. Stir occasionally.
Remove the saucepan from heat and allow the stew to cool to lukewarm temperature.
For younger infants, blend the stew into a smooth puree. For older infants, you can mash the chicken and vegetables into a semi-solid consistency.
Stir in ghee or olive oil for added flavor and healthy fats.
