Instructions
Preparation
Clean the chicken liver:
-Wash thoroughly with cold water and remove any membrane or connective tissue.
- Cut in small pieces.
Cooking Steps
In a non-stick pan or skillet, heat oil over medium heat.
Add the chopped onion and sauté until soft and translucent.
Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1–2 minutes until the raw aroma disappears.
Add the chopped tomato and cook for 3–4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the oil separates from the mixture.
Mix in the turmeric, coriander, cumin powders, and salt. Stir well to combine the spices with the tomato-onion base.
Add the chicken liver pieces to the pan and stir to coat the liver with the spice mixture. Cook for about 5–7 minutes on medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Pour in water to achieve the desired curry consistency. Cover and let it simmer for another 5-7 minutes or until the liver is soft and fully cooked.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
