Cooking Steps
Step 1: To begin making the Chicken & Bell Pepper Skewers, wash and clean the chicken thoroughly
Step 2: To marinate the chicken, in a mixing bowl combine soy sauce, honey, ginger powder, pineapple juice, olive oil
Step 3: black peppercorns, cloves and salt
Step 4: Add the chicken pieces into it, mix well and leave it in the fridge for at least 2 hours
Step 5: Combine cubed peppers and onion chunks in a bowl
Step 6: Add a tablespoon of olive oil, salt and pepper to the vegetables
Step 7: Mix them together
Step 8: Soak the wood skewers in a cold water for about 20 minutes
Step 9: In a wood skewer, thread chicken pieces, peppers, and onion chunks
Step 10: Arrange the wood skewers in a hot grill and cook them for about 15 minutes, turning sides for every 5 minutes
Step 11: Brush the remaining marinate on top of the chicken while cooking
Step 12: Once the chicken is cooked, remove the skewer from the grill and cool down
Step 13: Do not overcook as the chicken might become hard and lose its juiciness
