Chana Dal (Raw)
1 small cup (100g)
Chopped Onion
0.5 small cup (50g)
Chopped Tomato
0.5 small cup (50g)
Chopped Cucumber
0.25 cup (50g)
Chopped Green Chilli
1 tsp (2g)
Chaat Masala
0.5 tsp (2.5g)
Roasted Cumin powder

Instructions
Preparation
1.Rinse the dal thoroughly and soak it in water for 1-2 hours.
2. Drain the soaked dal and rinse it again with fresh water.
3. In a pressure cooker, add the dal with water and a pinch of salt. Cook for 2-3 whistles on high heat.
4. Once the pressure has released naturally, open the cooker and let the moong dal cool down.
Cooking Steps
In a mixing bowl, add the cooked chana dal, chopped onions, tomatoes, cucumber, carrot and green chili.
Add chaat masala, roasted cumin powder, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve immediately.
