Cooking Steps
Step 1: To make the cabbage palya, first cut the cabbage
Step 2: Boil water in a saucepan and add cabbage
Step 3: Let it cook for 5 to 7 minutes
Step 4: After that, drain the water and keep the cabbage separately
Step 5: Now heat oil in a pan
Step 6: Add feedback and let it cook for 10 seconds
Step 7: After 10 seconds, add asafoetida, curry leaves, green chillies and garlic
Step 8: Cook until the garlic turns golden
Step 9: After that add onion and salt and cook till the onion becomes soft
Step 10: After it is soft add cabbage
Step 11: After 1 manut, add tomatoes, coconut and coriander
Step 12: Mix well and cook until the cabbage and tomatoes are cooked
Step 13: After cooking, turn off the gas and serve hot
Step 14: Serve Cabbage Palya with mixed vegetable sambar and rice for the day's dinner
