Cooking Steps
Step 1: To begin making Buttered Peas Puree, pressure cook one cup of Fresh peas with 2 tablespoons water and a pinch of salt for 2 whistles
Step 2: Turn off the heat
Step 3: Release the pressure immediately by running the pressure cooker under water
Step 4: Drain the peas from the water
Step 5: In a pan, add half a tablespoon of butter and allow it to melt on low heat
Step 6: Once the butter has melted, add the cooked peas to it
Step 7: Saute for 2 mins until the butter has coated on to the peas
Step 8: Turn off the flame and allow the peas to cool
Step 9: Add the cool buttered peas to a mixer and blend until smooth
Step 10: Transfer to a serving bowl and serve this peas puree to your baby
Step 11: Serve Buttered Peas Puree to your babies from 6 months onwards as lunch or an evening meal
