In a mixing bowl, add the chickpea flour, wheat flour, cumin powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
Add water slowly and whisk until the batter is smooth and lump-free.
Add chopped onion and tomato to the batter and mix well.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan and spread it evenly to make a thin cheela.
Drizzle oil around the edges of the cheela and cook until the bottom is golden brown.
Flip the cheela and cook until the other side is also golden brown.
Remove the cheela from the pan and repeat the process with the remaining batter.
