Cooking Steps
Step 1: To make Bengali Aloo Dum recipe, first of all, add onion, ginger, green chilli, garlic and make a paste in a blender
Step 2: Keep it aside
Step 3: Now heat oil in a pan
Step 4: Now add boiled potatoes, turmeric powder, salt and cook till golden brown
Step 5: Now put in a bowl and keep it aside
Step 6: Heat a little more oil in the same oil
Step 7: Add onion, ginger, garlic paste and cook the paste for 4 minutes
Step 8: Now add cinnamon, long, bay leaves and cook for 2 to 3 minutes
Step 9: Add tomato puree, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder and cook for 2 minutes
Step 10: Now add curd to it and mix it
Step 11: After 1 minute add potatoes, sugar, salt, mix and cover the pan
Step 12: Let it cook on low heat for 20 minutes
Step 13: Keep mixing in the bitches so that the spices do not stick down
Step 14: Turn off the gas after 20 minutes, garnish with green coriander and serve
Step 15: Serve Bengali Aloo Dum Recipe along with Bengali Luchis, Cholar Dal and Gourd Raita for dinner
