Cooking Steps
Step 1: To begin making the Beer Batter Prawns recipe, first let us clean the prawns
Step 2: Wash the prawns, discard the heads and devein
Step 3: Remove the cover by leaving the tip of tails intact
Step 4: Then make a slit on the back of the prawn till it sits flat
Step 5: It should look similar to a butterfly
Step 6: Marinate the prawns by applying black pepper powder, red chilli powder and salt and keep aside for at least 30 minutes
Step 7: Now let us make the beer batter
Step 8: Take a mixing bowl and add all purpose flour, cornflour and other powders
Step 9: Now add beer little at a time and whisk to make thick batter
Step 10: Add salt to taste and mix well
Step 11: Now heat a kadai and add oil
Step 12: Hold the prawn on the tail and dip it in the batter
Step 13: Drain away the excess batter and gently drop the batter coated prawn in oil
Step 14: Deep fry in batches till it turns golden brown for about 3-4 minutes by turning on both sides
Step 15: It is ready to be served
