Step 1: To begin making the Banarasi Tamatar Chaat Recipe, keep all the ingredients ready
Step 2: In a kadai, heat oil on medium flame, add the onion, green chilli and ginger and saute for 3 to 4 minutes until the onions turn transparent
Step 3: Once the onions are nice and soft, add the chopped tomatoes and give it a mix

Step 5: Now that the onion-tomato mix has come together, add the mashed potatoes and mix it well until the mixture comes together
