Instructions
Cooking Steps
In a mixing bowl, combine bajra flour, chopped methi leaves, oil, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt.
Gradually add water and knead the mixture into a smooth and stiff dough. The dough should not be too soft.
Make a ball from dough , Roll ball into a thin and flat disc using a rolling pin. You can use a little dry bajra flour for dusting to prevent sticking.
Heat a flat non-stick pan (tava) over medium heat. Once hot, place the rolled khakra on the pan.
Cook the khakra on both sides until it becomes crisp. Press gently with a spatula while cooking to ensure even cooking
Allow the khakras to cool down completely and serve.
