Preparation
Blanching Asparagus:
In a large pot of boiling salted water, blanch the asparagus for 1-2 minutes until tender-crisp.
Drain the asparagus and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking process.
For Tuna Streak:
-Cut fresh tuna fish into thick steak
Cooking Steps
Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
Season the fresh tuna steak with oil, salt and pepper. Grill for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness. Remove from the grill and let it cool down.
In a large bowl, combine the cooked asparagus, red onion.
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss to combine.
Once the grilled tuna has cooled, add it to the salad. Toss gently to combine.
Serve immediately.
