Cooking Steps
Step 1: To begin with Asian Shrimp and Veggie Bowl, toss broccoli florets and potatoes with a tablespoon of olive oil, black pepper powder and salt in a wide pan
Step 2: Arrange them on a baking tray lined with silver foil and bake at 350 degree fahrenheit preheated oven for 25 minutes
Step 3: After 25 minutes, check if potatoes are cooked well
Step 4: If not, bake them for another 5 minutes
Step 5: Boil rice with a little salt and water
Step 6: Once it is cooked, drain the excess water and keep it aside
Step 7: Whisk together soy sauce, honey and hot sauce in a small bowl
Step 8: Heat a saucepan on flame
Step 9: Once hot, add grated ginger and garlic
Step 10: Sauté for a few seconds
Step 11: Add chopped onions, bell pepper and fry for 2 minutes
Step 12: After 2 minutes, add in the shrimps
Step 13: Mix everything well
Step 14: Cover and cook on medium-high heat until the shrimps changes their colour to white
Step 15: This process will take about 10 to 15 minutes
Step 16: Keep checking in between
Step 17: After 10-15 minutes, open the cover and reduce the heat to low and add the prepared sauce
Step 18: If the mixture is runny, add a tablespoon of cornstarch mixed in a tablespoon of water
Step 19: Mix well and switch off the stove
Step 20: Add the baked veggies and mix
Step 21: The next step is to serve it in the bowl
Step 22: Take a big bowl and arrange some cabbage leaves (optional)
Step 23: Add shrimp and veggie mixture over it and place a scoop of hot rice and arrange some carrot strips
