Cooking Steps
Step 1: To make tomato onion curry arabi vegetable, first wash and soak the arbi in salted water for 10 to 15 minutes
Step 2: Drain and wash again
Step 3: Dry it Now heat oil in a pan
Step 4: Add arbi to it and cook till it becomes golden
Step 5: Remove it on a paper towel and keep it aside
Step 6: Heat a little more oil in the same pan
Step 7: Add dry red chillies, asafetida, ginger, garlic paste and cook for 1 minute
Step 8: Now add onion and cook till the onion becomes soft
Step 9: Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, coriander powder and garam masala powder
Step 10: After 1 minute add tomatoes and green chilies and cook it for 3 minutes
Step 11: Now add arbi to it and mix well
Step 12: Cover the pan and cook it for 6 to 8 minutes
Step 13: Serve hot
Step 14: Serve the tomato onion arbi vegetable along with boondi raita and phulka for dinner
