Cooking Steps
Step 1: We begin making the Apple Almond Cake Recipe by preheating the oven to 180 degree celsius
Step 2: Lightly grease a Bundt pan or tube pan
Step 3: In a bowl, mix together the apples, almonds, vanilla, and cinnamon
Step 4: In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt
Step 5: Using an electric mixer beat the sugar, oil, and eggs in a large bowl
Step 6: Add in the dry ingredients and beat until completely combined
Step 7: Fold in the apple mixture
Step 8: If you are making it eggless / egg free: instead of the eggs - add the milk and curd
Step 9: Scrape the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 1 hour and 30 minutes or until a tester inserted into the middle of the cake comes out clean
Step 10: Allow the cake to fully cool in the pan, about 1 hour, and then turn it out onto a plate
Step 11: Drizzle the apple cake with some of the honey
Step 12: The cake can be wrapped tightly and stored in the refrigerator for 3 to 5 days
