Cooking Steps
Step 1: To make Andhra Style Kandi Pachadi, first heat oil in a pan
Step 2: Add tur dal, cumin seeds and cook till it becomes light brown
Step 3: Now add urad dal and dry red chillies and cook for 1 to 2 minutes
Step 4: Turn off the gas and allow this mixture to cool
Step 5: Add tamarind, garlic, some water and grind it in a mixer grinder
Step 6: Take out in a bowl
Step 7: Now heat the oil in a tempering light in the tempering
Step 8: Add the mustard seeds, urad dal and cook it for 10 seconds
Step 9: Now add curry leaves, dry red chillies, asafoetida and cook it for 10 seconds
Step 10: Add this tempering to the chutney and mix
Step 11: Serve Andhra Style Kandi Pachdi with Keirai Sambar, Cabbage Thoran, Rice and Papad for dinner
