Cooking Steps
Step 1: To begin making the Aloo Bread Pakora Recipe, first we will make the Green Chutney
Step 2: Into a mixer grinder add the coriander leaves, mint leaves, curry leaves, roasted peanuts, lemon juice, sugar, salt to taste and water
Step 3: Blend to make a smooth chutney
Step 4: Transfer into a bowl and keep aside
Step 5: Next we will make the Potato filling
Step 6: Into a large bowl add the boiled and mashed potatoes, onions, green chillis, red chili powder, turmeric powder,cumin powder, amchur powder, chaat masala, salt to taste and coriander leaves
Step 7: Mix well to combine
Step 8: Keep it aside
Step 9: Now we will make the Pakora Batter
Step 10: In a mixing bowl, add besan flour, rice flour, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida, enos fruit salt, ajwain and salt to taste
Step 11: Add little water at a time and mix well to make a lump free flowing batter
Step 12: The batter has to be thick enough to evenly coat the back of the spoon
Step 13: To make the Aloo Bread PakoraHeat oil in a deep fry pan
Step 14: Place 2 bread slices on a flat surface
Step 15: Smear some green mint chutney on both the slices
Step 16: Spread aloo filling evenly over one slice
Step 17: Place the second slice on top like a sandwich and press down gently to hold it together
Step 18: Trim the edges of the bread slices if you like and cut diagonally into a triangle
Step 19: Now dip the stuffed bread sandwich into the batter making sure it is coated well on all the sides
Step 20: Carefully drop into hot oil and fry the aloo bread pakora until golden brown and crisp on all sides
Step 21: Once done transfer the Aloo Bread Pakora on an oil absorbent paper to drain excess oil and serve hot
Step 22: Serve Aloo Bread Pakora Recipe with Dhaniya Pudina Chutney and a cup of hot Masala Chai for breakfast or tea time snack
