Instructions
Preparation
Soak almonds in water for at least 4 hours or overnight.
Drain the soaked almonds and peel off their skin.
Cooking Steps
Drain and rinse the soaked, peeled almonds and blend them in a blender with 1 cup of water until smooth.
In a large pot, heat oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic and sauté until the onions are translucent.
Add cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
Add the water and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Remove from heat and let the soup cool down a bit. Blend the soup in a blender until it's smooth.
