Ajwain Namak Paratha
Ajwain Namak Paratha is a flavorful Indian flatbread seasoned with carom seeds (ajwain) and salt. This paratha is typically made with whole wheat flour and requires less oil compared to traditional fried parathas, making it a healthier option. It can be served with yogurt, pickle, or any curry of your choice. However, individuals with gluten allergies should avoid this dish.

Cooking Steps
In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, carom seeds, and salt.
Gradually add water and knead the mixture into a smooth and soft dough. Add 1 tsp of oil and knead again to incorporate the oil into the dough.
Cover the dough and let it rest for 15-20 minutes.
Divide the dough into equal-sized portions and roll them into balls.
Roll out each ball into a thin circle using a rolling pin and a dusting of flour.
Heat a non-stick pan or tava over medium heat.
Place a rolled-out paratha on the heated pan and cook until small bubbles start to appear on the surface.
Flip the paratha, apply oil on the cooked side, and cook until both sides are golden brown and cooked through.
Repeat the process with the remaining dough portions.
Serve the ajwain namak parathas hot.
